Well, I must admit - a V E R Y modest contribution. In fact, a one liner:

I've changed the WebLabs PreviewContent.jsp:

      <b>This is a PREVIEW!  <a href="javascript:history.go(-1)">Go back to the editor</a> to save or modify.</b>

which gives you the ability to go back on those browsers where javascript is allowed.
