PERT has been used to track projects

Some people see Wiki as a potentially useful means of project tracking. If an enforced standard of markup, with certain key-words and associated data are maintained on each page (where a page is an activity), it would seem to be possible.

If as well a side-bar with project-tracking helps, as well as template-pages for quick set-up of new pages, it would be a worthwhile and flexible means of tracking projects of all kinds, not just projects of the normally conceived sense of projects.
