Local/Relative links would be great for us as well. We have separate intranet/development and internet servers. Already in the property files the server name has to be adjusted a dozen time or so (it would be great if the servername and paths could be defined separately...).

Would a [(local)/img/picture.png] syntax work?

This was refactored/brought again from an old page, containing: "It would be nice to be able to use relative links for things such as images.
