Entities (like & etc.) are now getting escaped by the wiki engine (like this : & ) such that they are not rendered properly anymore.

Under which conditions does this happen, also with normal edit-save?
- Yes, this is an issue with the 2.3.39 only. The preview issues still exists too. --DF
Please compare BugHtmlCharEntitiesMishandledInPreview (there this occurs only when saving from preview).
